Minted until 1929, the Indian Head Quarter Eagle had a relatively short production span of about 15 years, resulting in limited availability in today’s market. Of the over 400,000 coins minted, less than 1% have achieved an MS64 grade by NGC, with only 663 receiving certification from the Certified Acceptance Corporation (CAC).
